PictoryLand AS. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of users of North AR Book (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
North AR Book is an augmented reality application designed for children. We have designed the App to minimize the collection of personal information and to protect children's privacy.
PictoryLand AS. does not directly collect, store, or maintain personal information from users of North AR Book.
The App:
North AR Book uses the Unity engine and Vuforia Engine. These technologies may process or transmit limited technical information necessary to operate their software, as described in Section 5 below.
North AR Book requires access to the device's camera to provide its augmented reality features.
The camera is used to recognize supported images in the North AR Book and display augmented reality content associated with those images.
Image recognition is performed using a Vuforia Device Database stored locally as part of the App. The App does not use Vuforia Cloud Recognition.
PictoryLand AS. does not receive, store, or have access to the user's camera feed, photographs, or video through the AR recognition functionality.
Camera access is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, identification, or tracking.
North AR Book allows users to record videos of their augmented reality experience.
When a user chooses to record a video, the App may use the device's microphone to include audio in the recording.
The resulting video and audio are saved locally to the user's device or photo/video library.
These recordings are not uploaded to PictoryLand AS., Unity, Vuforia, or any server operated by us. PictoryLand AS. does not receive, access, store, or share these recordings.
Camera and microphone access is used solely to provide the requested functionality.
Users or their parents or guardians can manage or revoke camera and microphone permissions through the device's operating system settings. Disabling these permissions may prevent certain features of the App from working.
North AR Book is designed for children, including children between the ages of 9 and 12.
We do not ask children to provide personal information and do not provide user accounts, social networking, chat, behavioral advertising, or personalized advertising.
Videos created using the App remain locally on the user's device and are not transmitted to or accessible by PictoryLand AS.
We design North AR Book to minimize the collection and transmission of information from children.

North AR Book is developed using Unity and uses Vuforia Engine by PTC for augmented reality functionality.
Unity
North AR Book does not use Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, or Unity Gaming Services.
However, the Unity runtime may process or transmit limited technical information related to the operation of the Unity software. Such information may include technical device, application, platform, or runtime information.
Any information independently processed by Unity is handled in accordance with Unity's applicable privacy policies and terms.
Vuforia Engine
Vuforia Engine is used to provide augmented reality image recognition and tracking.
North AR Book uses a Vuforia Device Database stored locally on the device and does not use Vuforia Cloud Recognition for identifying book images.
Vuforia Engine may transmit limited technical information related to the operation of the Vuforia SDK, such as device information, SDK version information, application information, license information, and lifecycle events.
Any information independently processed by PTC/Vuforia is handled in accordance with PTC/Vuforia's applicable privacy policies and terms.
Neither Unity nor Vuforia is used by PictoryLand AS. for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking in North AR Book.
PictoryLand AS. does not sell, rent, or share children's personal information with advertisers or other third parties.
We do not use personal information for advertising, marketing, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.
Limited technical information may be processed independently by Unity or PTC/Vuforia as described above and according to their respective privacy policies.
PictoryLand AS. does not maintain user accounts or a database containing personal information about North AR Book users.
Videos created using the App are stored locally on the user's device. Users or their parents or guardians can manage or delete these recordings directly from the device.
Because PictoryLand AS. does not receive or store these recordings or maintain user profiles, we do not have access to this content and cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
Any limited technical information independently processed by Unity or PTC/Vuforia is subject to those providers' respective data retention practices.
North AR Book is designed to minimize the collection and transmission of user information.
Camera and microphone permissions are used only for the App functionality described in this Privacy Policy and are controlled through the device's operating system.
The App does not operate a PictoryLand AS. server or database containing children's personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, platform requirements, or third-party technologies used by the App.
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published on this page and the Effective Date above will be updated.
